Polls

A poll is a question with 2 to 6 answers. A board shows the question, a QR code and the results.

People scan the QR code with their phone and vote. They do not sign in. Each phone can vote one time.

When to use it

Use a poll to ask your visitors something, for example the next quiz theme or the best dish of the month.

Make a poll

1. Select New poll.
2. Type the question.
3. Type the answers. Select Add an answer for more answers.
4. Select Create.

Show a poll on a board

Use the Live Poll template, or Live Poll (Portrait) for a tall screen:

1. Make a board from the template.
2. In Content Source, select Add Content.
3. Select your poll.

On a custom board, add a Poll block. Then select your poll in the block settings.

The results on the screen change every 30 seconds at most, not after each vote.

Results and voting

• Show the results: select While people vote or When voting closes.
• To stop the votes, set Open for votes to off, or select Close voting in the list. The results stay on the board.
• When you remove an answer, its votes are deleted. The people who chose it can vote again.
• To start again, select Reset votes. All answers go back to 0 votes. The QR code stays the same.
