Photo Albums

A Photo Album is a set of photos in the order you choose, with an optional caption on each. A Photo Gallery board loops through the photos in its albums. Any number of boards can show the same album.

What it's great for

Photo albums suit hotel lobbies, golf clubs, shops, receptions and events: anywhere you want a screen to show a slideshow of your best pictures without anyone touching it.

Make an album

  1. Select New album and give it a name, for example "Clubhouse".
  2. Select Add photos. Pick as many photos as you like from your Media library, or upload new ones. Videos are not shown in a gallery.
  3. Drag a photo to move it. If you prefer, use the arrow buttons under each photo to move it earlier or later.
  4. Type a caption under a photo if you want one. It shows at the bottom of the screen when captions are on.
  5. Select Save.

An album holds up to 100 photos. If you delete a photo from the Media library, it drops out of the album.

Show it on a board

  1. Create a board from the Photo Gallery template.
  2. On the board's Content tab, add one or more albums. Several albums play one after another.
  3. Under Photo gallery, choose the transition (Fade, Cut or Ken Burns), how many seconds each photo shows, whether to shuffle, whether to fill the screen or fit the whole photo, and whether to show captions.

Ken Burns slowly zooms or drifts across each photo while it shows, and the direction changes from photo to photo. Fit whole photo never crops a photo, so the board background shows either side of a portrait photo.
