Job Vacancies

A Vacancy list is a named set of your open roles. Each role has a job title, the hours, the pay, where it is, a closing date and a link to apply. A We're Hiring board shows them with a QR code people can scan to apply. Any number of boards can show the same list.

What it's great for

Shops, pubs, cafes, care homes and leisure sites that recruit all the time. Customers are often your best applicants.

Add roles

1. Select New list, give it a name such as "Shop floor", and select Create.
2. Select Add a role. Type the job title and paste the apply link. The hours, pay, place and closing date are optional.
3. Turn on Featured for the role you most want to show. It is shown large and its link becomes the board's QR code.
4. Choose Draft to keep a role off your boards without deleting it.

The apply link must start with http://, https:// or mailto:. Leave the pay empty and the board shows nothing in its place. The closing date is the last day to apply. The role disappears from boards the next day.

Show it on a board

1. Create a board from the We're Hiring template.
2. On the board's Content tab, add your list. Put only the roles you want shown in it.
3. Under We're hiring, change the heading if you want something other than "We're hiring".
4. Add a Careers page link if you want the QR code to open your careers page when no role is featured.
5. Choose which details each role shows: pay, hours, place and closing date.

With one role, it is shown large. With two to six, they are listed. Change the list in Content and every board that shows it updates.
