Property listings

This page holds every property shown on your board: listings pulled in from a connected Property feed and listings you add by hand. Use it to browse and search what you have, add a one-off listing, or override how a single feed listing appears (feature it, change its price or status, or hide it) without touching the source feed.

What it's great for

Property listings suit an estate agent branch window showing its current properties for sale or to let.

Estate agent branches get the most from this by a wide margin — it is the one content type built entirely around their stock. property-listing-v1, property-listing-gallery-v1 and property-listings-3-v1 turn a listing into a single-property hero board, a photo gallery, or a three-up grid for a busy window.

How to add a listing manually

  1. Click New listing.
  2. Under Basics, pick a feed (leave blank and it files under an auto-created Manual entries feed), set the listing type (For Sale or To Rent) and status.
  3. Fill in Price (amount, currency, qualifier such as Offers Over or Guide Price, and period), Property details (type, tenure, beds, baths, reception rooms, EPC rating, council tax band, features), and Address.
  4. Add photos: upload a file, pick from the media gallery, or paste an image URL. The first photo is the featured hero image; star another photo to promote it.
  5. Click Create listing. It appears on the board immediately.

Feed-sourced vs manual listings

Every listing belongs to a feed. Most come from a Property feed set up on the separate Property Feeds page and refresh automatically from that source. A listing you add here with New listing is filed under the Manual entries feed (created the first time you need it) unless you choose a different feed. Both kinds show in the same table and use the same statuses. Once a listing exists, its feed can't be changed from the edit screen; the Feed field is locked when editing.

Statuses

The Status column shows the listing's current state, worked out from its feed status, age, and any status override:

New: first listed within the feed's "new listing" window (14 days by default).

For Sale / To Let: available and not recently added.

Under Offer (sale) or Let Agreed (rental): a reserved listing.

Sold STC or Let.

Withdrawn.

Overriding a listing

Click the sliders icon on a row to open Override. From here you can mark the listing Featured (pins it to Property of the Week), Hide it from the board, add a Sort boost, force a Status override or Price override, set a Badge label, replace the Headline, or leave internal Notes. An override only changes how the listing displays here; it doesn't edit the source feed data. Use the star icon in the row actions to toggle Featured without opening the full dialog.

Filtering and search

Use the search box to match on headline, address line, town, or postcode. The filter row narrows by feed, status, sale or rental, minimum beds, and minimum or maximum price; the Filters button shows how many are active and lets you clear them.
