Holiday listings

Use this page to manage self-catering properties: villas, apartments, cottages, lodges, chalets, glamping and hotel rooms. Each listing can appear on any board linked to it, showing its price, photos and availability to guests.

What it's great for

Holiday listings suit a holiday park or letting agency reception screen showing which lodges, cottages or apartments are available this week.

Holiday parks and letting agencies get the most from this — it is the one content type built entirely around their stock. Leisure, hotel and retail venues use holiday-listing-v1, holiday-listing-gallery-v1 and holiday-listings-3-v1 for a single-property hero board, a photo gallery, or a three-up grid.

How to add a listing

1. Select Add listing in the top right.
2. Fill in the Basics, Location, Capacity, Price and Availability sections.
3. Add at least one photo on the right (upload a file, pick from the gallery, or paste an image URL).
4. Select Create listing to save.

Fields

Basics covers the listing's Name (required), Type (Villa, Apartment, Cottage, Lodge, Chalet, Glamping, Hotel room or Other), Status, a reference code, a short Headline and a Summary shown on the board.

Location holds the Resort, Town, Region and Country. Capacity records how many guests it Sleeps, plus Bedrooms and Bathrooms. Details lets you set a Rating out of 5 and a list of Features (type one and press Enter to add it, for example Hot tub, Pool, Sea view or WiFi).

You can search the list by name, town or country, and filter by Status or Type using the dropdowns above the table.

Pricing

Set an Amount (required), a Currency (GBP, USD, EUR, AUD, CAD or NZD) and a Period: Per night, Per week, or Total price. The list view shows the price with its currency symbol and period, for example £450/week.

Availability

The Status field marks a listing as Available, Booked or Unavailable; this is shown as a coloured badge in the listings table and can be used as a filter. Set Available from and Available to dates to define the booking window, and Min nights for the shortest stay you'll accept. Leave the dates blank if the property is available year-round.

Photos

Add photos by uploading a file (PNG, JPEG or WebP), picking one from the media Gallery, or pasting an image URL and selecting the plus button. The first photo in the list is the hero image shown on the board; hover over any other photo and select the star to promote it to first place, or use the up and down arrows to reorder. Select the cross to remove a photo.
