Products

Use this page to keep the things you sell: shirts, balls, shampoo, gift-shop items. Products live in named lists such as "Pro Shop" or "This week's offers". A board shows one product large, or several at once, from the lists you link to it.

What it's great for

Products suit a shop window screen, a till-point screen, a golf pro shop, a salon selling hair care, or a hotel gift shop. Show the price, a sale price, what is in stock and a QR code that takes a customer straight to the page where they can buy.

Lists

  1. Select New list on the left and give it a name, for example "Pro Shop".
  2. Select a list to see the products in it. All products shows everything, and No list shows products you have not filed yet.
  3. Use the pencil to rename a list and the bin to delete it. Deleting a list never deletes its products.

One product can be in more than one list. For example a polo shirt can be in "Pro Shop" and "Offers" at the same time. Tick the lists in the product's Lists box.

How to add a product

  1. Select Add product in the top right.
  2. Fill in the name, brand, a one-line short description and a longer description for single-product boards.
  3. Set the price. Add a Was price to show "was £60, now £45" and a "25% off" chip.
  4. Add photos on the right. The first photo is the main one.
  5. Select Create product to save.

Fields

Sizes and Colours are shown on the board. They are for display only, so you cannot record stock for each size or colour.

Stock is In stock, Low stock, Sold out or Pre-order. For Low stock you can enter how many are left and the board shows "Only 3 left". Badges are New, Bestseller, Staff pick and Exclusive.

Buy link is a web address. The board shows it as a QR code with a short label such as "Scan to buy".

Valid from and Valid to control when the product shows. A product drops off boards the day after its Valid to date. Featured marks products you can pick out on a board.

Import and export with a CSV file

Select Export CSV to download your products. Select Import CSV to add or update many at once. The first row holds the headings: name, brand, price, was price, category, stock, sizes, colours, buy link and photo URLs. Put several sizes, colours or photo links in one cell, separated by semicolons. You can choose a list to add the imported products to. Rows with a problem are skipped and listed so you can fix them.

Showing products on a board

On a board's Content tab, add a Product list. Pick one or more lists. You can also pick a category and choose Featured only or Hide sold-out products in the board's Product options. A board that picks lists shows only those lists. If you delete them, the board shows nothing rather than every product.
