Teams

A team is a club or side set up once — a name, a short name, a badge and two colours — then picked from a list wherever you need it, instead of typing the same name and re-uploading the same badge every time.

What it's great for

Any club or school running fixtures on a screen: swim and rugby clubs, junior football, school sports halls. Set up each team once at the start of the season and reuse it all year.

How to add a team

1. Click New team.
2. Enter a Name (the full name, e.g. "Barry Barracudas Swimming Club") and, optionally, a Short name — what a board shows.
3. Upload a Badge — a transparent PNG works best.
4. Set a Primary and Secondary colour, then save.

Where a team shows up

Pick a team from the list when adding a Fixture (either side) or a Ranked list row. The badge, short name and colours follow the team everywhere it is picked — change the badge once and every fixture using that team shows the new one. You can still type an opponent's name by hand for a one-off friendly, without setting a team up first.

Deleting a team

Deleting a team does not touch the fixtures or ranked list rows that used it — they keep reading correctly, showing the name the team had. Only the badge and colours stop appearing.
