Vehicle listings

This page holds every vehicle shown on your board: listings pulled in from a connected Vehicle feed and vehicles you add by hand. Use it to browse and search stock, add a one-off vehicle, or override how a single feed listing appears (feature it, change its price or status, or hide it) without touching the source feed.

What it's great for

Vehicle listings suit a car dealership forecourt screen showing current stock and prices.

Car dealerships get the most from this — it is the one content type built entirely around their stock. vehicle-listing-v1, vehicle-listing-gallery-v1 and vehicle-listings-3-v1 turn a listing into a single-vehicle hero board, a photo gallery, or a three-up grid for the showroom floor.

How to add a listing manually

  1. Click New listing.
  2. Under Basics, pick a feed (leave blank and it files under an auto-created Manual entries feed), set the listing type (Sale, PCP, Lease or Hire), status, and condition.
  3. Fill in Vehicle details (make, model, variant, year, mileage, body, doors, seats, colour), Engine & performance (gearbox, fuel, engine size, power, CO₂, EV range), Price (amount, currency, VAT status, monthly-from figure, finance copy), and History & paperwork (registration, first registered date, MOT expiry, previous owners, service history, features).
  4. Add photos: upload a file, pick from the media gallery, or paste an image URL. The first photo is the featured hero image; star another photo to promote it.
  5. Click Create listing. It appears on the board immediately. Make, model and year, plus a price, are required to save.

Feed-sourced vs manual listings

Every listing belongs to a feed. Most come from a Vehicle feed set up on the separate Vehicle Feeds page and refresh automatically from that source. A listing you add here with New listing is filed under the Manual entries feed (created the first time you need it) unless you choose a different feed. Both kinds show in the same table and use the same statuses. Once a listing exists, its feed can't be changed from the edit screen; the Feed field is locked when editing.

Statuses

The Status column shows the listing's current state, worked out from its feed status, age, and any status override:

New In: first listed within the feed's "new listing" window (14 days by default).

Available: for sale and not recently added.

Reserved.

Sold.

Withdrawn.

Overriding a listing

Click the sliders icon on a row to open Override. From here you can mark the listing Featured (pins it to Car of the Week), Hide it from the board, add a Sort boost, force a Status override or Price override, set a Badge label (e.g. Reduced, Just In, 0% APR), replace the Headline, or leave internal Notes. An override only changes how the listing displays here; it doesn't edit the source feed data. Use the star icon in the row actions to toggle Featured without opening the full dialog.

Filtering and search

Use the search box to match on headline, make, model, variant, or registration. The filter row narrows by feed, status, condition, body style, fuel, gearbox, make, minimum or maximum price, maximum mileage, and earliest year; the Filters button shows how many are active and lets you clear them.
