Guest photos

A Guest wall collects photos from your guests. A guest scans a QR code with a phone and sends a photo. No account is necessary.

You approve each photo before it shows on a board. The server removes the GPS data from each photo.

When to use it

Use it at a wedding, a party, a fun run or an open day, where guests take photos.

Make a guest wall

  1. Select New guest wall.
  2. Type a name, for example "Wedding photo wall".
  3. Select Create.
  4. Show the QR code from Link for guests, or show the wall on a board.

Approve photos

  1. Open the guest wall.
  2. Under To approve, select Approve or Reject for each photo.

A rejected photo is deleted. To remove a photo from the wall later, select Remove.

If you set Show photos at once, photos show without approval, in 1 minute or less. Do this only for guests that you know.

Show the photos on a board

Use the Guest Photo Wall template, or Guest Photo Wall (Portrait) for a tall screen. The template shows the newest photos and the QR code for guests.

  1. Make a board from the template.
  2. In Content Source, select Add Content.
  3. Select your guest wall.

Change the photo style

  1. Open the board and select Edit.
  2. On the Content tab, find Photo style under Guest photos.
  3. Select Polaroid, Full screen or Grid.
  • Polaroid: each photo lands on a pile as a printed photo, with the caption and the name under it. The newest photo is on top. A new board uses this style.
  • Full screen: one photo at a time fills the screen and slowly zooms or moves. The newest photo shows first.
  • Grid: the newest photos show together in rows.

The board saves the change immediately. A board that you made before this setting shows the grid until you change it.

On a custom board, add the Guest photos block and select your wall. In Style, select Polaroid, Full screen, Grid or Slideshow.

Settings

  • Take new photos: turn off to close the wall. The photos stay on the board.
  • Make a new link: the old QR code stops working.
  • Delete the wall to delete all its photos.
