Emergency

Emergency lets you raise an alert straight from your phone, so Channels switch to an emergency message immediately, and clear it once the situation is over.

The bell

A red bell at the top right of every page opens Emergency from anywhere. It shows a count when alerts are already active, so you can see at a glance whether anything is live.

Raising an alert

  1. On the Trigger tab, tap the target to choose what the alert covers: the whole organisation, a division, a region, a site, an area, a zone, or a single Channel. Only the levels your plan includes are offered.
  2. Tap the template you need. If none appear, ask an admin to set some up on the desktop CMS under Settings → Emergency.

Opening Emergency from a Channel's own page (its Emergency alert row) starts with that Channel pre-selected as the target — tap the target to pick something else instead.

The countdown

A 3-second countdown appears before the alert goes live, giving you a moment to back out of a mis-tap. Tap Cancel to stop it, or let it reach zero to fire the alert.

Clearing an alert

Open the Active tab and tap Clear on the alert. Channels return to normal straight away. Past alerts stay visible under the History tab.

Which plan includes this

Emergency alerts need the Professional plan or above.
