My Profile

This page is about you, and everyone can open it whatever their role. It is reached via "My Profile" in the account menu in the top-right corner of the app.

Display name

Change the name shown for you across NowBoard. Save updates it straight away, including in the top-right corner of this page.

Email and role

Your email address and role are shown for reference but can't be changed here. They are managed by Firebase and by your organisation's administrators.

Appearance

Switch between Light, Dark, and matching your device. This choice is saved to this browser, the same way it already works in the phone app.

Password

Sends a password reset link to your email address, the same reset flow used from the sign-in page.

Your data

This page also holds your data. From here you can download a copy of the personal data NowBoard holds about you, and delete your own account.

Download my data

Downloads a JSON file containing your profile, your organisation membership, your consent record and any help feedback you have submitted. It does not include organisation content such as boards or media.

Delete my account

Permanently erases your account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm, then signed out. Your name and email are removed from your organisation's user list.

Organisation owners

If you are the only owner of your organisation, deletion is blocked until you make someone else the owner, or you contact support to close the organisation. This stops an organisation being left without anyone in charge.
