Content

This is your library of everything you can show on a Channel: timetables, menus, announcements, media, opening times, info cards, events, countdowns, QR codes, property, vehicle and holiday listings, web URLs and YouTube videos. Each type has its own page with its own fields, statuses and (where useful) a spreadsheet import.

How content reaches a board

1. Click Content in the menu to open the content hub, pick the kind of content you want from the cards there, and add or edit an item.
2. Open a Board in the editor and drag in a widget for that content type.
3. The widget shows whatever item (or feed) you point it at, and updates automatically when you change the content later.
4. Add the Board to a Playlist so it plays on your Channels.

You do not need to touch the board or playlist again when you only want to change what the content says: edit the item on its content page and every board using it updates on its own.

Picking the right type

• Timetables, Menus and Opening Times are for structured, repeating information with its own layout.
• Announcements, Events, Countdowns and Info Cards are for shorter messages and dates.
• Media holds the images and video you use across other content and boards.
• Property listings, Vehicle listings and Holiday listings are for items you add by hand or bring in from a feed.
• QR Codes, Web URLs and YouTube show something from outside now-board on a Channel.
