Creating an account

This page creates a new NowBoard organisation and your first user account inside it, in three short steps. Use it once, when you're signing up for the first time.

Step 1: Account

Choose how you'll sign in. These are two separate options; pick one.

• Continue with Google takes you straight to the next step. Google itself opens on the last step, when you create the account.
• Or fill in your name, email and a password (at least 8 characters), then select Continue with email. The eye icon in the password field shows what you typed.

Step 2: Organisation

Enter your organisation's name and pick the kind of place it is. This tailors your menu to the content types you'll use, and you can change it later in Settings. Then pick your country: it sets the currency you're billed in for good, so it can't be changed later. The currency shows under the field once you pick a country.

Step 3: Confirm

Check the summary. Use the Edit links to go back and change anything; what you typed is kept. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then select Create account (or Create account with Google, which opens Google so you can choose your account). If you arrived from a pricing page with Professional selected, the price is shown here as a reminder; you choose the plan at checkout after signing up.

Once your account is created, you're taken straight into the setup wizard to create your first Channel.

What the Free plan includes

New organisations start on the Free plan, which includes:

• 1 Channel
• 3 Boards
• Core signage features

You can set your organisation's sector and upgrade your plan later from Settings → Organisation and Settings → Billing.
